Winner of ECU Live! announcement - Joondalup Lenovo competition.
The rainy weather on Sunday 27 May did not discourage visitors to come to this year’s ECU Live! on the Joondalup Campus. Thousands of people were there to find out more about ECU courses and facilities for prospective students.
IT Services were represented by IT staff and management including Mark Ridge, IT Manager and Jeff Murray, Director of the Knowledge and Information Technology Service Centre.
The IT Services door prize consisted of a 19” wide screen computer monitor kindly donated by Lenovo. The competition was open to visitors who answered the following question:
"In 25 words or less, describe why Lenovo has the best engineered PCs?"
The most creative answer was submitted by Ms Beverly Ng.
The lucky winner was presented with the prize on Thursday 7 June 2007 by Cathy Rogan from Lenovo, who congratulated Beverly and wished her success in her future studies.
Bevery was impressed with the facilities provided to students by ECU and said she was interested in continuing her studies in the marketing area in the Faculty of Business and Law.
ECU Live! On Mount Lawley Campus is planned for Sunday 12 August 2007.
